Ohh,,, sorry, but I couldn't write anything for a while because of many stuff I had to do.
Today, let's have a stroll in Washington DC. We'll go to there by Metro rail, first, get Red line bound for Glenmont station at Twinbrook station, and transfer to Blue or Orange line at Metro Center, afterwards, get off the train at Smithonian station or Federal Triangle station, and you'll get to around the Capitol Hill.
Okay, is everyone on board?
The metro stations around Washington DC are in the deep underground. The elevator is so long and steep. It looks like a shelter. I've heard that it was actually set out to be used as a shelter in case of emergency.
"Oh, say can you see hum...hum hu humm.., ....~~~♪”(sorry, I can sing in English just only the first part.)
Standing here, the national anthem of America is played in my mind automatically. I'm not an American, though I felt something like a dignified atmosphere. I can imagine that people would be enthused with inaugural address by President Obama here.
♪Oh, say can you see...
The weather was nice, but chilly. 天気よかったけどひんやりしてた。
Hello
I have never been to Washington DC, though I have visited USA many times.
It is the place that I want to go once, if I get a chance.
The white color suits WDC.
So, I have many places that I want to go.
Big money, a lot of chances. I need it more.
More ・・・・more・・・・
See You! 「^^」/
Hey, how have you been? Did you get over a cold yet? yes u did Lol
The last picture u brought up reminds me of the Campanile Tower on uc berkeley campus, but this guy is not higher than the white tower on the picture. I actually don't know about this white tower though...
when i take a look at this picture, i wanna stretch my body as if my hands were reaching the sky.
can i get inside? I wanna try it from the inside standing on the open-air observation deck..well sort of.. i can see two dots on the upper point of the tower. Hmm, I guess it must be deck. Oh, people did not have technology those days, so this tower does have elevator. That may be hard to step up this god damn long stairs. Oh sorry, every time imagination does not go with me Lol
anyways, the tower looks good in the picture, and u look good in mind.
Thank you for your comment and sorry for the late reply.
I also have a lot of places to visit in America. If I had a chance, I want to go north west of United States. I think Washington DC has many historic stories and connection with Japan, so it's interesting for you to visit there.
Thank you for your comment, sorry for the late reply.
This Washington Monument is kinda symbol of Washington DC. We can see often the news in front of it on TV. Yes! we can get inside of Washington Monument. Washington Monument tour had been closed because of high security revel after 911 while I used to live, so regrettably I actually haven't been inside.
yeah, it looks so nice in the blue sky. it makes so good.
I lived in Rockville, MD for 3 years and half. Despite the fact I'm poor at English.... I try to write about memories of life in the U.S to practice English. Maybe you will find many mistakes on it, so please correct them!
