Japanese Hibachi is NOT Hibachi in the US

When we heard of "HIBACHI", we would imagine a device like these pictures.Yes, In Japan, Hibachi is known to us as a kind of heating device using charcoals.
I would see lots of advertisements written "HIBACHI" in the US., but what I saw in the US was quite different from usual Japanese Hibachi.
What Hibachi do you imagine?
Japanese HIBACHI
Talking of Hibachi in the US, it is known as a portable cooking apparatus or cooking style using a gas-heated hot plate at the steak house. The chef affords us good entertainment with juggling act. The style is almost as same as we just call it "Teppan yaki" in Japan.
I've ever tried Hibachi grill at steak house in the US. That was pretty good!

アメリカでHibachiといえば、ポータブルバーベキューセット、もしくは鉄板焼き（もれなくジャグリングのような芸付き）のことを指します。アメリカ人に鉄板焼きって何？と聞かれたら、Hibachiと言えば１発で伝わると思います。
Oh, America has also FUTON, but it is not Futon which we usually imagine.
They refer to the furniture as FUTON which can be used not only as a couch but also as a bed.
I was surprised to know the difference between America and Japan.
そうそう、アメリカにもFutonがあるんですよ。でもFuton にして布団に非ず。
